Albares: The US Congress plays a fundamental role in Spain-US relations
Madrid, May 23 (Hibya) – Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, met in Washington with US Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chair Senator James Risch and House Representatives Carlos Giménez and Mario Díaz-Balart.

Following the meetings, Albares stated: “The House of Representatives and the Senate play a fundamental role in strengthening transatlantic ties and in Spain-US relations.”
His meetings focused on consolidating strategic cooperation between the two countries and deepening collaboration in addressing shared global challenges.
