According to a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani attended the meeting of the Council of Ministers mandated by the Arab-Islamic summit.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories were discussed.

Al Thani reiterated the State of Qatar’s support for the Palestinian cause based on international law and the two-state solution, which guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
