Al Sani meets Macron’s Special Envoy to Lebanon Le Drian
Doha, January 28 (Hibya) – Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Sani met with Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President’s Special Envoy to Lebanon.
Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al Sani met with Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President’s Special Envoy to Lebanon, who is visiting the country.
During the meeting, bilateral cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen it were discussed. Recent developments in Lebanon and various issues of mutual interest were also reviewed.
During the meeting, Al Sani emphasized that Lebanon’s stability is one of the fundamental pillars of regional stability, stressing that all parties must comply with United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701 and fully respect the sovereignty of the Lebanese Republic over its territory.
