Addis Ababa, May 27 (Hibya) - Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali announced that Negele Borena Geda Airport has been opened for service.
Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali announced the opening of Negele Borena Geda Airport. The statement noted that the airport, Ethiopian Airlines’ 24th domestic destination, was built to accommodate Boeing 737 Max aircraft. It was stated that three weekly flights will begin and that the project aims to contribute to local trade, cross-border economy, and tourism.
