Dutch Defence Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said new agreements had been reached as part of defence and security talks with Jordan and that an agreement regulating the status of military personnel had been signed.

Highlighting security cooperation between the two countries, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, “The Netherlands and Jordan are strengthening cooperation for greater security.”

Referring to the details of the meeting and the agreements reached, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, “With Deputy Prime Minister Safadi, I reached agreements on closer cooperation in the defence industry and stronger border security.”

Yeşilgöz-Zegerius concluded her statement by saying, “We also signed an agreement regulating the status of military personnel.”
