US President Trump raises tariff on China to 125%
Washington, April 9 (Hibya) – US President Donald Trump announced that the tariff on Chinese goods has been raised to 125%.
President Trump said the tariff on China has been raised to 125% and will take effect immediately.
“At some point, hopefully in the near future, China will realize that the days of cheating the US and other countries are no longer sustainable or acceptable,” Trump said.
The President also announced that the new tariff rates for approximately 75 countries that have not taken retaliatory action are suspended for 90 days.
