The statement reads: "In Gaza, 'the stockpiles that came in mass during the ceasefire are now almost completely exhausted,'" said John Whyte, Deputy Senior Director of UNRWA Operations in Gaza, in an interview with Newstalk FM. "Due to the six-week-long Israeli blockade, no aid has entered Gaza. Over 2.1 million people are trapped; they are being bombed and starved."
