UAE Ministry of Defense: Measures taken against 16 ballistic missiles and 42 UAVs
Abu Dhabi, March 29 (Hibya) – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced that the country’s air defense systems intercepted 16 ballistic missiles and 42 unmanned aerial vehicles.
According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Defense, the UAE air defense systems took action on March 29, 2026, against 16 ballistic missiles and 42 unmanned aerial vehicles launched from Iran.
The statement added that since the beginning of the attacks, the UAE air defense systems have intercepted 414 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,914 unmanned aerial vehicles.
