Trump spoke by phone with Netanyahu
Washington, February 28 (Hibya) – United States (US) President Donald Trump held a phone call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Trump, together with members of his national security team, closely monitored the situation overnight at Mar-a-Lago.
Leavitt stated that Trump spoke by phone with Netanyahu. She added that prior to the attacks, US Secretary of State Rubio called all members of the “Gang of Eight” to brief Congress, successfully reaching seven of the eight members and informing them.
Leavitt said that Trump and the national security team will continue to closely monitor the situation throughout the day.
