Trump on Greenland: Now is the right time
Washington, January 19 (Hibya) – U.S. President Donald Trump made another statement on the Greenland issue, saying: now is the right time.
Following an intense Sunday during which EU member states held an emergency meeting to decide how to deal with Donald Trump’s threat of imposing tariffs, the American president made another statement regarding Greenland.
In his statement, Trump wrote: “For 20 years, NATO has been telling Denmark, ‘You need to eliminate the Russian threat in Greenland.’ Unfortunately, Denmark has not been able to do anything about it. Now is the right time, and this will be done!!!”
