Trump: If no deal is reached, we will target infrastructure
Washington, March 30 (Hibya) - United States President Donald Trump stated that if no agreement is reached in talks with Iran, critical infrastructure could be targeted.
US President Donald Trump said that the United States is conducting serious negotiations with a new and more reasonable leadership in Iran to end military operations.
Trump emphasized that if an agreement is not reached soon and the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened to trade, tough measures will be taken, including the possibility of targeting critical infrastructure such as power plants, oil wells, and especially Kharg Island.
He noted that these targets have not been deliberately struck so far, adding: "This step will be a response for our soldiers and others killed during the 47 years of the former regime’s ‘reign of terror’. Thank you for your attention."
