US President Donald Trump made assessments regarding the Iranian people and the current administration.

Emphasizing that the current situation in Iran must change, Trump said, "A whole civilization will disappear tonight and will never be brought back. I do not want this to happen, but it will probably happen."

Trump stated that regime change could open the door to a new era, saying, "However, with a full and complete regime change now, in an environment dominated by different, smarter, and less radicalized minds, perhaps something revolutionary and wonderful could happen—who knows? We will learn this tonight, at one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the world."

Criticizing the current period and offering his good wishes to the Iranian people, President Trump concluded his remarks by saying, "47 years of usurpation, corruption, and death will finally come to an end. God bless the great people of Iran."
