Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced that Switzerland would cover the treatment costs of young Italians injured in the Crans-Montana tragedy.

In a post on his social media account, Tajani stated that Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis had informed him of the decision, saying, "Switzerland will cover the medical expenses of young Italians affected by the Crans-Montana tragedy."

Welcoming Switzerland's decision, Tajani commented, "This is a great gesture of solidarity and closeness that both the Italian government and the Italian people deeply appreciate."

Noting that the tragedy had claimed the lives of many young people and affected the futures of innocent young people, Tajani stated, "In the face of such a tragedy, concrete solidarity and cooperation between countries become even more important."

In his post, Tajani expressed his gratitude to Switzerland and Foreign Minister Cassis.
