Rome, April 2 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani emphasized at a meeting attended by more than 40 countries that it is necessary to ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as to establish a "humanitarian corridor" for fertilizer shipments to prevent a potential food crisis in Africa.

Highlighting the importance of international cooperation in resolving the crisis, Tajani said: "I attended a meeting on the crisis in the Strait of Hormuz with more than 40 countries from all continents. We must all work within the United Nations' multilateral framework to quickly end the war."
