Sybiha: We condemn Iran’s attack on Azerbaijan
Kyiv, March 5 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned Iran’s attacks against Azerbaijan and called on the international community to “join forces” to neutralize the threats posed by the Tehran regime and its ally Russia.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha made a statement regarding Iran’s stance toward countries in the Middle East and Europe and its targeting of Azerbaijan via Nakhchivan.
Regarding Iran’s military activities, Minister Sybiha said: “There has never been any justification for Iranian terrorists providing drones to Russia in order to harm Azerbaijan, Ukraine or other countries where they bring chaos, murder and instability. Iran’s attack on Azerbaijan once again demonstrates that the Tehran regime is not only a regional threat but a global one.”
Emphasizing that the threat is not limited to Iran and that cooperation with Russia deepens the crisis, Sybiha stated: “This is not only about Iran, but also about its terrorist allies, including Russia. All international efforts must be united to neutralize the threats created by the Iranian regime, give the Iranian people a chance for a normal life, and restore security and stability in the Middle East and beyond.”
