Sybiha: Three Ukrainians detained in Venezuela have been released
Kyiv, January 22 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said that three Ukrainian citizens who were illegally detained in Venezuela have been released.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha stated that three Ukrainian citizens who were illegally detained in Venezuela have been released and are now safe.
Noting that the citizens are on their way to reunite with their families, Sybiha said: “This was made possible thanks to the coordinated efforts of Ukrainian diplomats and the support of our U.S. and European partners.”
Sybiha emphasized that protecting the rights and interests of Ukrainians abroad is one of the top priorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
