Stubb: I met with President Macron in Paris
Paris, September 10 (Hibya) - Finnish President Alexander Stubb announced that he met with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris and discussed regional and global security issues.
Finnish President Alexander Stubb said that during his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, they discussed Russia's attacks on Ukraine, European security and steps aimed at strengthening Europe's strategic autonomy.
Referring to the scope of relations between the two countries, Stubb said, "I met with President Macron in Paris. We discussed Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine, European security and ways to strengthen Europe's strategic autonomy."
Highlighting France's regional role, Stubb concluded his remarks by saying, "Finland and France are closer than ever. France is an important partner for both Ukraine and Europe as a whole."
