Stating that they view Maduro as an illegitimate president, Starmer said they do not regret the end of his regime. Starmer said: “In the coming days, the UK government will discuss the evolving situation with its US counterparts in order to ensure a safe and peaceful transition to a legitimate government that reflects the will of the Venezuelan people.”
