Sharif discusses ways to deepen Pakistan-Belarus cooperation with Lukashenko
Islamabad, September 1 (Hibya) – Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Bishkek.

Sharif said they expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of relations between Pakistan and Belarus during the meeting and discussed ways to further develop cooperation in the political, trade, economic, defense and cultural fields.
Sharif said they agreed to prioritize trade, industry, agriculture, information technology and vocational education in cooperation between the two countries. He added that, with Pakistan assuming the chairmanship of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, he invited Lukashenko to visit Pakistan next year.
Sharif said they remain committed to taking the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Belarus to even higher levels.
