Russian Foreign Ministry celebrates 50th anniversary of South Vietnam’s liberation
Moscow, April 30 (Hibya) – The Russian Foreign Ministry celebrated the 50th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam.
The war that ended on April 30, 1975, is considered a historic turning point on the path to national unification and unity.
This special day is commemorated every year on April 30 in Vietnam as the “Day of the Liberation of the South and National Unity.” Ceremonies and events are held across the country to mark the end of the war and the establishment of peace. This year’s 50th anniversary celebrations aim to both remember history and strengthen national solidarity.
The statement read: “Today marks the 50th anniversary of the liberation of South Vietnam. This event signaled the end of a long war and paved the way for national unity. In Vietnam, this day is celebrated every year as the Day of the Liberation of the South and National Unity.”
