According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State of Qatar expressed deep concern over the ongoing developments in Venezuela and, in this context, called for restraint, de-escalation, and the adoption of dialogue as the appropriate means to address all existing issues.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s commitment to the United Nations Charter and the established principles of international law, and supported adherence to these principles, including obligations related to the peaceful settlement of international disputes under the UN Charter.
