The situation around Ukraine was also addressed in the conversation. Ramaphosa expressed support for Russia's efforts to resolve the conflict through political and diplomatic means.
Both leaders exchanged views on current international developments and emphasized the importance of maintaining coordination between Russia and South Africa within the frameworks of G20 and BRICS.
