Prevot: Sudan faces the world’s largest humanitarian crisis
Brussels, February 19 (Hibya) - Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot stated that together with 30 foreign ministers, he called for the immediate end of violence in Sudan.

Prevot stated that Sudan is facing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis and that drone attacks are killing civilians. He said, “Health facilities are being destroyed. Food convoys are being targeted. Humanitarian workers are losing their lives while trying to provide assistance.”
Prevot added: “We call on the Rapid Support Forces, the Sudanese Armed Forces, and all militias to immediately halt the fighting. Civilians must be protected. Humanitarian access must be ensured. Those responsible for violations against women and children must be brought to justice.”
