The Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel accompanied President Antonio Jose Seguro during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the Ibero-American Conference.

During the meeting, Portugal reiterated its continued support for Ukraine and expressed solidarity over the civilians killed in Russia's recent attacks.

The ministry stated that Portuguese Foreign Minister Rangel would visit Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, in the near future to discuss bilateral support, adding that the date of the visit would be determined during talks with his Ukrainian counterpart.
