According to CCTV, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that any attack on religious leader Ali Khamenei would be regarded as a declaration of an “all-out war” against the Iranian people.

In a post shared on social media, Pezeshkian stressed that any action targeting Khamenei is a red line for Iran.

The Iranian president also blamed Washington for the country’s economic hardships, stating that the “long-standing hostility” and “inhumane sanctions” imposed by the United States and its allies are the main reason behind the difficulties faced by the Iranian people.

On the same day, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ismail Baghaei said that the party interfering in Iran’s internal affairs is the United States, and that Washington should be held responsible for the escalation of tensions between Tehran and Washington.

Referring to the cancellation of Iran’s invitation to the Munich Security Conference, Baghaei said the decision was taken under pressure from the German Foreign Ministry.
