Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif responded to Romanian President Nicușor Dan’s statement regarding the ceasefire reached between the United States and Iran.

Addressing Dan in his post, Sharif said, “Thank you for your support and encouragement for Pakistan’s sincere efforts for peace.”

Sharif also stated, “We will continue to work with our partners to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region.”

Romanian President Dan had previously said, “I welcome the ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran and thank Pakistan and other regional mediators.”

Highlighting the global impact of the conflict, Dan noted, “Weeks of fighting have driven energy and food prices to serious levels worldwide.”

Emphasizing diplomacy, Dan added, “All commitments must be honored and the diplomatic process should bring stability and security to the region.”
