New Zealand Prime Minister Luxon: We are building an LNG import terminal
Wellington, 9 February (Hibya) – New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon announced that a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) import terminal will be established to ensure the country’s energy supply security and reduce electricity costs.
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon stated that they will implement the project with the aim of preventing volatility.
Emphasizing both the economic and strategic importance of the new investment, Prime Minister Luxon said, “We are building an LNG import terminal to help lower electricity prices and ensure that New Zealand has a reliable energy supply for the years ahead.”
