Netanyahu: The struggle for Israel’s security continues with determination
Jerusalem, April 13 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made statements during a government meeting regarding operations on the Lebanon border, coordination with the United States, and policies toward Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu provided information about the operations carried out by the Israeli army on the northern border during the government meeting.
Netanyahu said, “Yesterday I was in Lebanon, in the security zone, together with our forces. They are doing incredible work with our outstanding reservists and brave commanders.”
Netanyahu claimed that the Israel Defense Forces had “pushed back enemy elements” along the border line and stated that the security zone created in the area aims to reduce attack threats.
He also referred to clashes in southern Lebanon, noting that operations are continuing particularly around Bint Jbeil.
Netanyahu also addressed contacts with the United States, stating that he received information from U.S. Vice President JD Vance regarding the course of negotiations with Iran.
Delivering firm messages regarding Iran policies, Netanyahu emphasized that “Iran must not be allowed to enrich uranium under any circumstances,” adding that they are in close coordination with the United States on this matter.
He also touched upon Israel’s security capabilities, arguing that the country is “in a stronger position today,” and said, “The State of Israel is at the height of its power today.”
Concluding his remarks, Netanyahu referred to Holocaust commemorations, stating that Israel’s security policies aim to “prevent such a catastrophe from ever happening again.”
