Mixed trading in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, August 24 (Hibya) – Asia-Pacific markets showed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week.

In Australia, the ASX 200 index rose 0.48 percent to 9,102.10 points. In India, the NIFTY 50 index gained 0.12 percent to 24,280.70 points.
In Japan, the NIKKEI index fell 0.41 percent to 65,746.45 points. In Hong Kong, the HSI index declined 2.09 percent to 25,465.23 points, while the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.71 percent to 3,877.30 points.
As a result, stock markets in Japan, Hong Kong and China declined, while markets in Australia and India advanced.
