Leyen: The Military Mobility Package Will Strengthen Europe’s Rapid Response Capacity
Brussels, 19 November (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made statements regarding new steps to strengthen Europe’s security and defense capabilities.
Von der Leyen emphasized that the newly announced Military Mobility Package will enhance Europe’s ability to act swiftly and effectively during crises.
She noted that they are working towards infrastructure resilience, joint action, and a safer Europe, adding: “Today’s Military Mobility Package will strengthen Europe’s readiness and capability to move rapidly in crisis situations.”
Von der Leyen also announced the launch of the Defence Industry Transformation Roadmap, aimed at supporting the adoption of innovative technologies in the defense sector.
