Lammy held a meeting with German President Steinmeier
London, 4 December (Hibya) – UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy met with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and made remarks on shared values.
During the meeting, Lammy said: “In a challenging global climate, unity is our strength.”
He emphasized that the two countries maintain strong cooperation for Europe’s security, prosperity and stability, stating: “The UK and Germany share a deep friendship and a commitment to Europe’s security, prosperity and stability.”
Highlighting shared values, Lammy concluded: “As we celebrate our shared values, we welcome President Steinmeier.”
