Kallas celebrates Estonia’s Independence Day
Brussels, February 24 (Hibya) – European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas celebrated Estonia’s Independence Day.
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas published a message on the occasion of Estonia’s Independence Day.
Stating that today is a day of celebration for all Estonian people, Kallas said:
“It is a day when we reflect on freedom and how, 108 years ago, our ancestors freed themselves from Russia’s chains and began to realize their ideals. We are infinitely grateful for our independence and freedom; this gives us the strength to help those who fight for their independence and freedom.”
