Israeli army: More than 1,000 targets destroyed in southern Lebanon
Tel Aviv, April 28 (Hibya) – The Israeli army announced that more than 1,000 infrastructure targets were destroyed in operations carried out in southern Lebanon and that numerous weapons were seized.
In a statement issued by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), information was provided regarding operations carried out in southern Lebanon.
Regarding the scope of the operation, the statement said: “In southern Lebanon, units under the command of the 91st Division destroyed more than 1,000 terrorist infrastructure sites used by Hezbollah, including booby-trapped structures and weapons depots.”
The statement also referred to the ammunition and weapons seized, saying: “During the operations, numerous weapons were seized, including machine guns, Kalashnikov rifles, hand grenades, mines, anti-tank missiles, ammunition and RPG rockets.”
The statement noted that the operations were carried out to eliminate threat elements in the region.
