Herzog: Fighting antisemitism is a priority
Jerusalem, February 11 (Hibya) – Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited Canberra at the invitation of Australian Governor-General Sam Mostyn, where discussions focused on combating antisemitism and bilateral relations.

During the meeting, Herzog stated that they had extensively discussed the importance of combating antisemitism following the terrorist attack in Bondi. “We discussed in detail the importance of combating antisemitism after the Bondi terrorist attack,” he said.
The two also assessed the revitalization of relations between Israel and Australia in various fields, including technology, science, agriculture, and tourism. Herzog noted that there is a mutual desire to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
