Irish Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris said, “As we mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine, it is more important than ever that we impose further financial sanctions on Russia.”

Harris emphasized the need to stand in solidarity with Ukraine and to fight for freedom, sovereignty and territorial integrity, noting that in Ireland they stand with the Ukrainian people.

Expressing support for a lasting, enduring, just and fair peace, Harris added, “The people of Ireland stand with the people of Ukraine on the fourth anniversary of this war.”
