Foreign Ministers of Pakistan and Maldives hold talks
Islamabad, 22 November (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the foreign ministers of Pakistan and the Maldives, who met on the sidelines of the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum, agreed to deepen cooperation in the areas of trade, connectivity and climate resilience.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Maldivian Foreign Minister Abdulla Khaleel on the margins of the EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum (IPMF).
The ministry reported that both ministers agreed to enhance their bilateral partnership in trade, connectivity and climate resilience.
The ministers also emphasized the importance of maintaining regular contact, including through multilateral platforms, to further advance their shared priorities.
