Major indices traded on European stock exchanges showed mixed movements during the early hours of trading.

The UK's FTSE 100 index declined 0.43% to 10,782.66 points. France's CAC 40 index, meanwhile, rose 0.34% to 8,205.37 points.

The Netherlands' AEX index fell 0.62% to 1,129.22 points, while Germany's DAX index declined 0.43% to 26,325.01 points. Spain's IBEX 35 index gained 0.59% to reach 19,486 points, whereas the Euro Stoxx 50 index dropped 0.29% to 6,247.85 points.

Switzerland's SMI index fell 0.37% to 14,967.73 points, while Italy's FTSE MIB index declined 1.03% to 50,505.87 points.

In Russia, the RTSI index remained unchanged at 946.84 points, while the MOEX Russia index was steady at 2,458.46 points.
