Gold fell to 4,682.60, losing 0.24 percent of its value. Silver also dropped to 74.48, declining by 0.73 percent.
On the industrial metals side, copper fell to 6.01, showing a decline of 0.18 percent.
Platinum fell to 1,986.80, losing 0.54 percent, while palladium dropped to 1,468.50 and became one of the commodities with the sharpest decline, at 1.20 percent.
In the overall outlook, a selling-dominated trend in precious and industrial metals drew attention.
