Costa: Europe stands united against antisemitism
Brussels, 14 December (Hibya) – President of the European Union (EU) Council Antonio Costa stated that Europe stands united against antisemitism in his remarks regarding the armed attack that took place at Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
EU Council President Antonio Costa said that he was deeply shaken by the attack carried out against people celebrating the first night of Hanukkah at Bondi Beach.
Expressing his most sincere condolences to the families, relatives, and loved ones of those who lost their lives, Costa said, “I stand in full solidarity with Australia and with Jewish communities around the world.”
Costa emphasized that Europe is united against antisemitism.
