Commercial and Training Aircraft to Be Showcased at Dubai Airshow
Emirates will showcase its entire aircraft family, including the newly refurbished A380, the groundbreaking Boeing 777-300ER, and training aircraft such as the Diamond DA42-VI and Cirrus SR 22 used by the Emirates Flight Training Academy.
The A380 on display at the Dubai Airshow is one of the first to be fully refurbished as part of Emirates' ongoing $2 billion retrofit program. It features renovated interiors and improvements in all cabins, including the airline's popular Premium Economy Class cabin.
The Emirates exhibition stand, open to all Dubai Airshow visitors, will feature a range of Emirates-related sections. One of this year's standout themes is the experience of working for Emirates. Starting with cabin crew training, gamified environments set up inside Emirates' aircraft will offer visitors a contemporary approach to enhancing their learning and service skills through simulated experiences and a glimpse into the future.
The official Emirates store at the stand will also sell airplane models and other popular aviation and travel items. The airline's Airbus A350 model aircraft will be offered for sale exclusively at the Dubai Airshow for the first time.
The Emirates Flight Training Academy will showcase the latest and most advanced training aircraft, the Diamond DA42-VI, in addition to the single-engine Cirrus SR 22 it acquired earlier this year. Emirates Flight Training Academy instructors will be on hand to provide information about the academy's world-class training program.
