China's AI startup program reaches over 1,000 startups across 8 innovation hubs
Beijing, October 14 (Hibya) – The second season of the "Win in AI+" program, produced by China Media Group, reached more than 1,000 artificial intelligence startups through 29 promotional events held at eight AI innovation hubs in China and Singapore. The program aims to showcase China's AI innovations internationally and highlight scalable projects.
The "Win in AI+" program, produced by China Media Group (CMG), aims to create an ecosystem that brings together artificial intelligence entrepreneurs, investors, local governments, and experts.
According to China Central Television (CCTV), the program seeks to identify China-based AI solutions that can be applied and scaled across various sectors, as well as discover the country's next generation of AI startups, at the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan covering the 2026–2030 period.
During the program's second season, a startup selection system open to domestic and international applicants was established. More than 1,000 AI startups participated in 29 promotional events held in Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, and Tianjin, as well as Hong Kong and Singapore.
These efforts marked the program's transition from a structure focused on domestic Chinese startups to a new phase aimed at strengthening international connections.
In July, CMG also organized a special overseas event for the "Win in AI+" program during the "AI for Good" Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland. The event introduced China's AI innovations to international participants and facilitated exchanges with global research institutions and international organizations.
