The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Borrell, condemned the violence related to the football match in Amsterdam, stating that any manifestation of anti-Semitism or racism is unacceptable.
Borrell emphasized that they cannot import hatred into societies, adding: “Any violence for religious or ethnic reasons is fundamentally contrary to European values.”
