Balkan economy actors meet in Edirne
The Balkan Business and Investment Forum begins on October 31, hosted by the Edirne Governorship.
Edirne Governor Yunus Sezer stated that the event will be held with the participation of ministers and investors from Balkan countries. “The Forum, where important actors of the business world and entrepreneurs will open doors to new partnerships, is being realized under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Trade,” he said.
Edirne, which served as the capital of the Ottoman Empire for 88 years, is organizing a significant event with the aim of becoming the center of trade and industry in the Balkans.
Governor Sezer emphasized that the Forum is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of Trade, adding that Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat will also participate in the forum.
The governor highlighted that the Forum, set to begin on October 31, aims to contribute significantly to Balkan trade, with about one thousand participants expected.
Sezer noted that the Forum will bring together trade and industry ministers, heads of chambers, NGOs, and investors from various sectors. Additionally, B2B meetings among investors from different countries will accompany the forum.
