Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry: We expect the Iranian Armed Forces to apologize
Baku, March 5 (Hibya) – Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense announced that it has been confirmed that four Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeted civilian infrastructure and a secondary school, calling on the authorities in Tehran to stop denying the attacks and apologize.
The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan issued a statement regarding attacks carried out by the Iranian armed forces against civilian settlements in Nakhchivan and surrounding areas.
The ministry emphasized that Iran’s official statements about “respect for sovereignty” do not correspond with the realities on the ground.
The statement on the details of the attack said:
“Although Iran claims to respect the sovereignty of neighboring countries, it has been confirmed that four Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles targeted civilian infrastructure and a secondary school. We expect the Iranian Armed Forces to stop these denials and apologize.”
