Tehran, March 8 (Hibya) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi emphasized that it is unacceptable for state officials to establish contacts with foreign services and become open to external interference.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi spoke about the country’s sovereignty and the relations of senior officials with the outside world.
Regarding the issue, Araghchi said: “In Iran, no official could travel to another country in order to cooperate with a foreign intelligence service and ‘train’ our President to fulfill the wishes of foreigners.”
Araghchi stated that such a person would be accused of treason, adding: “We would ask what kind of information that foreign country had about the official and immediately accuse him of treason.”
