Zelensky: Ukraine would not have survived without the heroism of our soldiers
Kyiv, December 7 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, presented certificates for the purchase of 20 apartments to the Heroes of Ukraine and to the families of soldiers who received this title posthumously.
Zelensky stated that the liberation of the country became possible thanks to the courage and determination of Ukrainian defenders.
Emphasizing the need to end the war, he said: “We must finish it with dignity and reliability so that the Russians never come here again. We must ensure that Ukraine always has a worthy place in global processes, and this will certainly happen. But we must also ensure that the relatives of our Ukrainian heroes feel at home in Ukraine. And this place is a home for all our heroes, because they defended it.”
Zelensky thanked Ukrainian soldiers and the families of all Ukrainian heroes. A moment of silence was held in memory of the defenders who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine.
The President presented documents for 20 apartments: 11 to families of fallen soldiers and 9 to Heroes of Ukraine.
