Zelensky: Approximately 100 people injured across the country
Kyiv, May 24 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky provided information on the ongoing efforts following Russia’s overnight attacks, as well as the casualties and damage caused.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the teams working in the affected areas and shared military and humanitarian data in his statement.
Referring to the efforts on the ground and the casualties after the attack, Zelensky said, “I am grateful to all our units working in the areas affected by Russia's overnight attacks: the State Emergency Service units, the National Police, and municipal services.”
Stating that 100 people were injured, Zelensky said, “Considering the scale of the attack and its consequences, everyone is working as effectively as possible: approximately 100 people were injured across the country, and unfortunately four more people lost their lives.”
Referring to the settlements affected by the attacks and the extent of the damage, Zelensky stated, “My condolences to the families and loved ones. In Kyiv alone, around 30 residential buildings were damaged or destroyed.”
