Kyiv, November 23 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that the fourth Saturday of November is commemorated as Holodomor Remembrance Day.
Ukrainian President Zelensky stated that the fourth Saturday of November is commemorated as Holodomor Remembrance Day, explaining that these tragic events occurred in the years 1921, 1922, and 1923; in 1946 and 1947, and during the darkest years of 1932 and 1933, when millions of lives were lost due to the regime's deliberate famine.
Zelensky emphasized that it is their duty to remember, honor, and share the truth about the genocide against Ukrainians with the world. He said, “May the memory of all Holodomor victims, adults and children, innocent victims, be eternal and blessed.”
