Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha meets with German counterpart Wadephul
Kyiv, 29 November (Hibya) — Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed Russia’s attacks and Germany’s support for Ukraine with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul.
During their meeting, Sybiha spoke with Wadephul about the consequences of Russia’s brutal mass attacks on Ukraine.
The discussions addressed peace efforts, Europe’s role, and the necessary steps to achieve a just peace. The issue of frozen Russian assets was highlighted, emphasizing the importance of using them fully and as soon as possible for Ukraine’s defense and recovery.
Sybiha also thanked Germany for its leadership in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, its lifesaving air-defense support, and its decision to increase assistance in the 2026 budget.
